Mallory Albrecht
COHORT LEADERSHIP DIRECTOR
Mallory is a writer, resource gatherer, and grief enthusiast. She is director of our cohort coaches and facilitates coaching groups in the certificate program.
Mallory has worked in churches and alongside pastors for 20+ years - serving in youth ministry, leadership development, home-church director, and guest services. Mallory has trained with the Allender Center and completed the Narrative Focused Trauma Care I program, a progrm desgined to equip pastors and lay-members to sit in stories of grief and facilitate trauma informed group work with illuminating care.
Mallory has an interest in art, ritual, and embodied practices as a way to process childhood grief that has been relegated to the subconscious. She resides in San Diego with her husband and two dogs, and is passionate about equipping churches and pastors for grief work through a trauma-informed Gospel lens.
